Training for teachers, Roma assistants and social workers was carried out on Saturday, 24th November, 2018 in the premises of RIC Novo mesto. The training was attended by 36 experts from elementary schools:
- Primary school Loka, Črnomelj
- Primary school Milka Šobar-Natasa, Črnomelj
- Primary school Drska, Novo mesto
- Elementary School, Novo mesto
- Primary school Bršljin , Novo mesto
- Primary school of the Bela Krajina detachment, Semič
- Primary school Grm, Novo mesto
The training introduced the applicative value of Transactional Analysis in solving conflicts and motivating Roma students to actively participate in the educational process, and to develop social and intercultural competences.
Many practical examples of conflict situations were presented and analysed.
Teachers were encouraged to cooperate and actively work against discrimination, develop awareness of the importance and ways of integrating Roma into the social environment.
