The book contains the final reflections and documentation of the RISE project, starting from the presentation of the actions implemented in the local contexts where the project has been developed (Bologna and Bari in Italy, Braga District in Portugal and Novo-Mesto in Slovenia).

Final International Conference at the Institute of of the Innocents, Florence

The Final International Conference of the RISE project took place on Friday the 14th of February 2020 at the Institute of the Innocents in Florence. The title of the Conference is "Building a School Together: Inclusive Experiences from Roma Children".

The Portuguese National Conference took place on November 2019

The Portuguese RISE Conference took place on 19th November at the Institute of Education/University of Minho and was attended by more than 150 participants including teachers, educators, school group leaders, other education professionals, social workers, members of parents' associations and students of the Institute of Education.

RISE PROJECT MEETING IN SLOVENIA

On October 18, 2019, a meeting of the partners of the RISE (Roma Inclusive School Experiences) project took place in Novo mesto, Slovenia. Together with partners from Italy and Portugal, we summarized the main project activities in all participating organizations.

The presentations included trainings for teachers, social workers and Roma assistants and workshops for all children involved in the project.

THE SLOVENIAN NATIONAL CONFERENCE TOOK PLACE ON THE 17TH OF OCTOBER 2019

On Thursday, October 17, 2019, the RISE (Roma Inclusive School Experiences) Slovenian Conference was held at the RIC Novo mesto.

The event was called: Together on the Path of Knowledge: “Be inclusive”. The aim of the conference was to promote inclusive education for all children and to present the most important results of the RISE project.

PRESENTATION OF THE RESULTS OF THE RISE DIGITAL STORYTELLING WORKSHOPS REALIZED IN ITALY

The first results of the digital storytelling workshops realized in the Bologna schools within the RISE project have been presented during the Conference organized by SIRD on the 26th and 27th of October 2019. The title of the Conference hosted by the Sapienza University of Rome was "Societies for Society: research, scenarios, emergencies".
