On October 18, 2019, a meeting of the partners of the RISE (Roma Inclusive School Experiences) project took place in Novo mesto, Slovenia. Together with partners from Italy and Portugal, we summarized the main project activities in all participating organizations.
The presentations included trainings for teachers, social workers and Roma assistants and workshops for all children involved in the project.
The project is slowly approaching its end, but our work continues. The next step is to prepare a book and teacher's booklets that will include teaching aids, lesson suggestions, worksheets, and tutorial templates.
The meeting was effective and took place in a very welcoming atmosphere.
